After so many jokes, after so many rumours (“Could that be true?”), after all the questions about the possibility of the existence of such puzzlement, Compaq comes to the rescue!

The link that follows is from the FAQ database of Compaq, and I really don’t know what to make of it! Is the company that helpful? Why was that company the first to ever have that in a database? Is it even the first to have it in their database? Could it be that I simply wasn’t looking for it and hence didn’t find it? And what about the person that DID look for it and sent the first email about it that eventually reached me? What was he/she thinking about? Was it a valid question or just a search for some amusement? Was he/she just as well amazed? Was he/she just an innocent bystander when someone else looked at the FAQ for answers to that age old problem?
