What is it with this rain? For the past 10 days it has been raining and raining and raining. And people question why the UK has so much “green”! There is no question! It never stops raining! Not even during the summer!
In Greece people are going swimming to escape the heat! We are talking about 35 degrees Celsius. And in the greater London area we are still in autumn to winter mode with 11-14 degrees, constant rain and even one afternoon, HAIL! As my friend Pyrgiotis said; OMG and FFS at the same time!
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want it to become like Greece, dying for some shade and taking three showers a day to feel clean, but enough with the rain, summer time in the UK should mean a modest a comfortable 20-25 degrees!
Here’s hoping for the rest of the summer…
